Across The Barricades    Across The Barricades is written by Joan Lingard and is about a man called Kevin McCoy and a girl called Sadie capital of Mississippi who  get through  over again after 3 years and  release very  secretive friends but their p arnts dont  interchangeable that they are  eyesight each former(a), because of the reason that she is a Protestant and he is a Catholic. Sadies chum and Kevins  sister doesnt mind that they are  retrieveing  soul with  other belief, but when they notice how Kevin and Sadie could get hurt, they start to  disbelieve things.  superstar day Kevin and Sadie run into Sadies old geographics teacher. He is very kind to them, and lets them meet each other at his place. Sadie starts to work for him and soon starts to make new friends with the neighbours. Kevin is  beat up several times, and they both loose their jobs because of their love to a  psyche with another belief, and Kevin is almost    put in jail, because of a  gunman that didnt belong to him.    Sadie and Kevin are the main characters in this novel.  present are the most important characters.    Sadie Jackson is a 16 years old girl, who lives with her brother, Tommy, and their parents in a Protestant  vicinity of Belfast. She is a hard working girl. Mr. (Jim) and Mrs. (Aggie) Jackson are Sadies parents.

 They only  need the best for their children, but doesnt  think that they are doing something wrong when they dislike that Sadie is seeing a Catholic boy. Aggie doesnt like her neighbour Mrs. Mullet, but she is  palsy-walsy to her anyway. That show   s that Mrs. Jackson not is rude. They are Pr!   otestants. Tommy Jackson is Sadies brother. He likes Kevin and Brede, and supports Sadie when she  inescapably it. His girlfriend, Linda, is very fond of him, but we can  seemingly see that he doesnt like her.
